My Sephora Haul – Unboxing and Review

Last week I made an order with Sephora Australia to try some of the Clinique beauty and skincare products. I was really impressed with the service and delivery, after ordering I received my goodies in under a week!

The products I ordered were;

  • Take the Day Off Cleansing milk $47
  • Pop Lip Colour in Punch pop, Grape pop and Poppy pop $38 for Grape and $40 each for others
  • Chubby in the nude foundation $57
  • Cheeky pop in Ginger pop $40
  • Take the day off eye makeup remover $33

Total: $295

Sadly I got the wrong colour foundation but I am going to be using it as a contour anyway!

The three lipsticks are so smooth and don’t dry out my lips, they are all highly pigmented and go on the lips very smooth; the colour is also buildable so you can lightly put it on for a natural look or apply more for a more bold look.

The Cheeky pop is probably the most beautiful blush design I have ever seen. The blush itself is very natural very smooth on and not a chalky blush at all.

As for the cleansing products, I am a major fan of the cleansing milk it makes taking off the day a lot easier, its not harsh on my sensitive skin and it actually makes it feel moisturised and refreshed.

I wasn’t as impressed with the eye makeup remover, I am not sure if I was using it wrong or not, but it wasnt working the best. I am definitely going to be giving it a few more tries to give it a proper test, so I will let you know in my next review if I got it to work for me.

Overall, I was so impressed with all the Clinique products and they arent the first products I have tried as well.

This is the first time ordering online with Sephora Australia online and I was really impressed with the service as well. I have the app and they have heaps of App only deals.

Has anyone shopped with Sephora before?

Knee High boots, Why I love them and How to wear them!

Hey Guys welcome back to my blog, todays post is about my knee high boots from Duo Boots and I am absolutely loving them, I was lucky enough to be gifted them.

Here is the link if anyone wants to get them

Knee High Boots

These boots are super comfy and I love that you can pick the calf size so you aren’t wearing boots you have to squeeze into or that are loose around your calfs. I also love that their is in between sizes as well. I can rarely find places that do in-between sizing, does anyone else have this problem?

So here is a few inspo options for how you could wear your boots.

This is one of my favourite ways to wear the boots, I think it is flattering to all shapes as well.

This could be a knit dress, body-con dress or really any shorter dress.

Next up is this outfit styling;

I also love the look of shorts with knee highs as well. I find boots look a lot better with dresses, shorts and skirts then they do with jeans. Jeans can make you look more stocky, especially if you are more curvy like me.

Black-Skirt-and-White-Sweater

Lucky last inspo is this outfit, as I said before I love skirts or shorts with the boots.I think this look is very classy and elegant, plus it is flattering in all sizes as well. Outfits like this dont make me feel frumpy and gross, they help shape my curves and make me more confident in my body.

I hope you liked this post, did you want to see more posts like it?

Also I am thinking of doing more body positivity posts and would love to know if you would be interested in seeing them.

Here is the link for the boots again as well if you want to get yourself some.

Brow Tattoing, the must knows before you get it done!

Hey guys, welcome to my page or welcome back if your a follower.

Recently I got my brows feather tattooed so I thought I would share my whole experience and answer any question anyone has had before they look at getting them done!

I got mine done with Beautiful Brow Boutique on the Gold Coast so if your looking at getting yours done if you mention thatbloggerjade you’ll get $100 off your brow tattoo 😍

First thing I have to say is that now I will never be able to live without my brow tattoo. It has completely changed the way I look at my face.

This is a before and after of my brows before they healed. They are so naturally drawn and no one even notices they are tattooed.

This is a photo from my touch up a few weeks ago, where they went over my brows with a slightly different colour to add a more natural look to the brows.

And here’s an awkward selfie of them all healed and all natural. Honestly I don’t know how I ever lived without brows I love them so much.

Main questions I get asked about my brows;

Did they hurt;

Yes they hurt a little bit, not any more then a normal tattoo though. It kind of feels like plucking your eyebrows. The worst part is the tips of your brows because it’s more sensitive skin.

How long do they last;

They last different for every person because everyone’s bodies are different. They last about 2 years though.

We’re you scared they would mess up your brows?;

No not at all. She measures everything out and shows you how they are going to be before she even starts tattooing. So I knew exactly what I was going to get.

Would you get them done again?;

Absolutely 100% after I’ve had them done I definitely won’t be going back to natural brows 🙈

On a scale of 1-10 how much did it hurt?;

About a 4/10 it mainly just makes your eyes water.

If you have any other questions let me know and I’ll answer them!

Also don’t forget if your a gold coaster wanting yours done go see beautiful brow boutique and mention thatbloggerjade to get $100 off!

Makeup Tips and Tricks to up your Slay Game!

Hey Guys, welcome back to my blog! Todays post is going to consist of a list of tips you can use to help up your makeup game and give yourself a flawless base.

18579477_1928682754039118_8865708253028286464_n

Base tips:

  • For a flawless base mix one part primer to three parts foundation, remember this will lower the coverage but smooth out your skin more.
  • Make sure to moisturise and Prime before you put on your foundation, so your skin doesn’t such all the moisture out of the foundation.
  • Always make sure you have done all the cream products before you set your face with a powder, otherwise the foundation will cake.
  • Remember less is more, if you are using a high coverage foundation don’t use concealer if you don’t need to, to avoid caking.
  • Remember to use products suited for your skin type

Eye Tips:

  • Use tape when you want your eyeshadow to be sharp and clean
  • Remember like your face, your eyes need to be primed as well, you can do this with an eyeshadow primer or even works if you conceal and set. This will also make eyeshadow more pigmented on your skin.
  • Remember to layer eyeshadow, start with small amounts. This will help with blending it out. If you aren’t very confident with eyeliner, try black eyeshadow. It is easier to clean up and also easier to manoeuvre.

Lips Tips:

  • Always line your lips and then blend, it helps get your lipstick to last longer
  • Like everything, always prime your lips; this can be done with a scrub or even just coconut oil and a tissue.
  • Don’t be afraid to add pigments to your lips to add some excitement to your lip colour or even some highlight.

Skin Tips:

  • Sheet masks are quick and easy forms of masks; my favourite skincare tip is to leave the sheet mask on overnight, it will allow the mask to properly soak into the skin.
  • Moisturise morning and night even if its just a light moisturiser
  • It is good to exfoliate the skin once a week, this helps remove any dead skin cells
  • Always clean your makeup off, then cleanse your skin. Removing your makeup doesn’t always clean all your makeup off.

This is all the tips I have so far but you can check out more at Belle with Love linked below;

Sephora in America is so much cheaper than Australia, so learn how to take advantage of US pricing with ShopandBox.

So recently I did my second order with ShopandBox, taking advantage of the Sephora VIB sale.

Yes the savings arent catastrophically great but any saving is a good saving and a lot of the time you can get amazing deals like the Sephora Favourites boxes you cant get in Australia. Its also a good idea to use Shipping services like ShopandBox when your favourite American companies have amazing specials or exclusive deals, because then you get the most for your money, another great feature from Shopandbox is the amount of samples you get given from your boxer; with my last order I got a whole mix of products including a colour-pop eyeshadow!?! One company to buy from in America is Mac Cosmetics, they have been known to have almost a 100% markup for most products and sometimes even more and it happens with a lot of the Australian Cosmetic stores. For example it’s 17 USD (22 AUD) for a Mac lippie in the US versus 36 AUD in Australia.

If you want to try, or even check out Shopandbox click the link below. You can use the discover page to find what people are buying at the moment from countries all over the world.

Royal essence ring candle + ring bath bomb review and ring reveal!

Hey guys welcome back to my blog.

Today’s post is a review and ring reveal for the two royal essence products I tried.

I got the watermelon lemonade candle and the bubblegum bath bomb.

The candles cost $46.99Aud

And the bathbombs cost $24.99

Both with the chance to get a ring worth between $10 and $2000. Now that’s pretty awesome, seeming as the prices aren’t much more expensive to candles that size usually, the bathbombs are a bit more expensive then the usual but they are a less messy way of getting to reveal a surprise ring.

So the two rings I got ended up having equal values both being worth $40 so I actually saved money in the long run. They are both gorgeous rings as well.

This is the one I got with my candle.

And this is the one I got with my bathbomb. I can definitely see how people get addicted to collecting the rings. The second I saw which rings I got I wanted to buy more candles and bathbombs to try find one worth $2000

They are such a great idea and honestly it’s a win win, even if you get a ring worth $10 you get a beautiful smelling candle or bathbomb!

I can definitely see myself collecting more. Has anyone bought one before? What ring did you get? Show me in the comments

My Shop and Box experience! Costs, benefits and overall is it worth it? Plus giveaway sneak peek..

Hey guys welcome back to my blog.

Today’s post is about my shop and box experience and haul!

So I had the chance to try shop and box myself this month and I decided to check out Sephora US and Ulta as they are one of the two most well known makeup shops and are known to have some awesome sets and exclusive palettes.

This is what I got:

I got the Urban decay vice palette

Which actually isn’t sold in Australia

The smashbox light it up collection

Rrp is 66Aud

Lorac dance till dawn palette which is an ulta exclusive and can’t be bought in Australia

Then the Sephora favourites extravagant eyes which also isn’t sold in Australia Which gave you $134US(175aud) value for $42Us (55Aud).

When using shop and box all you have to do is add items to a Wishlist you can pick from 29 different countries. I have used shop and box before but decided to shop from the US this time. I had boxer Yan, who was amazing they even gave me a little sample bag with my order which I thought was so sweet. When you order from shop and box you don’t need to pick just one shop you can use multiple, once your boxer receives the items they post photos on your chat so you can see they are in tact.

Once your items are bought, You then proceeded with Invoice 2 the service fee which ranges between 10-14% with the fee the more you spend, the lower the service fee tier + international shipping

Once it’s all paid, DHL shipping takes 3 days from the US to your doorstep. I was so happy with how quick it all got to me and so well packaged as well. I will Definitely be shopping with them again. I have attached some more photos of the things I got so you can have a closer look. Also I will be giving away a Lorac palette and a shop and box experience on my Instagram so make sure you check it out

My Everyday Beauty must have!

Hey Guys welcome back to my blog todays post is dedicated to a product I can never buy to much of…

Dry Hair Shampoo! Now if your like me and rely on dry shampoo to get you through a lazy week then this post is for you.

I have been testing out the different Klorane dry hair shampoo range and I am in love, there is one for normal, oily and dry scalps which I think is an amazing idea as I find some dry hair shampoos make my scalp quite irritated after using.

One thing I love about the Klorane dry hair shampoo is it really does give your hair that refreshed feeling and it always gives my hair a bit more volume.

Some I have used in the past just make my hair look like i’ve dumped a bag of flour on it and feels that way as well.

For all you normal hair girls you can use any of the three normal, oil control and dry scalp.

My favourite of the set is the Dry Shampoo with nettle, the nettle is added for oil control, I struggle with oily hair so it is always in need between washes so I don’t need to wash everyday.

If you struggle with a dry scalp the dry shampoo with Oatmeal is the one for you, the oatmeal soothes and moisturises your scalp while the dry shampoo refreshes your hair and adds volume.

Has anyone tried these, what do you think of them?
