Brow Tattoing, the must knows before you get it done!

Hey guys, welcome to my page or welcome back if your a follower.

Recently I got my brows feather tattooed so I thought I would share my whole experience and answer any question anyone has had before they look at getting them done!

I got mine done with Beautiful Brow Boutique on the Gold Coast so if your looking at getting yours done if you mention thatbloggerjade you’ll get $100 off your brow tattoo 😍

First thing I have to say is that now I will never be able to live without my brow tattoo. It has completely changed the way I look at my face.

This is a before and after of my brows before they healed. They are so naturally drawn and no one even notices they are tattooed.

This is a photo from my touch up a few weeks ago, where they went over my brows with a slightly different colour to add a more natural look to the brows.

And here’s an awkward selfie of them all healed and all natural. Honestly I don’t know how I ever lived without brows I love them so much.

Main questions I get asked about my brows;

Did they hurt;

Yes they hurt a little bit, not any more then a normal tattoo though. It kind of feels like plucking your eyebrows. The worst part is the tips of your brows because it’s more sensitive skin.

How long do they last;

They last different for every person because everyone’s bodies are different. They last about 2 years though.

We’re you scared they would mess up your brows?;

No not at all. She measures everything out and shows you how they are going to be before she even starts tattooing. So I knew exactly what I was going to get.

Would you get them done again?;

Absolutely 100% after I’ve had them done I definitely won’t be going back to natural brows 🙈

On a scale of 1-10 how much did it hurt?;

About a 4/10 it mainly just makes your eyes water.

If you have any other questions let me know and I’ll answer them!

Also don’t forget if your a gold coaster wanting yours done go see beautiful brow boutique and mention thatbloggerjade to get $100 off!

Makeup Tips and Tricks to up your Slay Game!

Hey Guys, welcome back to my blog! Todays post is going to consist of a list of tips you can use to help up your makeup game and give yourself a flawless base.

18579477_1928682754039118_8865708253028286464_n

Base tips:

  • For a flawless base mix one part primer to three parts foundation, remember this will lower the coverage but smooth out your skin more.
  • Make sure to moisturise and Prime before you put on your foundation, so your skin doesn’t such all the moisture out of the foundation.
  • Always make sure you have done all the cream products before you set your face with a powder, otherwise the foundation will cake.
  • Remember less is more, if you are using a high coverage foundation don’t use concealer if you don’t need to, to avoid caking.
  • Remember to use products suited for your skin type

Eye Tips:

  • Use tape when you want your eyeshadow to be sharp and clean
  • Remember like your face, your eyes need to be primed as well, you can do this with an eyeshadow primer or even works if you conceal and set. This will also make eyeshadow more pigmented on your skin.
  • Remember to layer eyeshadow, start with small amounts. This will help with blending it out. If you aren’t very confident with eyeliner, try black eyeshadow. It is easier to clean up and also easier to manoeuvre.

Lips Tips:

  • Always line your lips and then blend, it helps get your lipstick to last longer
  • Like everything, always prime your lips; this can be done with a scrub or even just coconut oil and a tissue.
  • Don’t be afraid to add pigments to your lips to add some excitement to your lip colour or even some highlight.

Skin Tips:

  • Sheet masks are quick and easy forms of masks; my favourite skincare tip is to leave the sheet mask on overnight, it will allow the mask to properly soak into the skin.
  • Moisturise morning and night even if its just a light moisturiser
  • It is good to exfoliate the skin once a week, this helps remove any dead skin cells
  • Always clean your makeup off, then cleanse your skin. Removing your makeup doesn’t always clean all your makeup off.

This is all the tips I have so far but you can check out more at Belle with Love linked below;

Sephora in America is so much cheaper than Australia, so learn how to take advantage of US pricing with ShopandBox.

So recently I did my second order with ShopandBox, taking advantage of the Sephora VIB sale.

18581232_1513458375344731_2638469143749197824_n

What I got and their US Rrp;

  • Too Faced White Chocolate Chip Palette $26US
  • Smashbox Glow and Go set $29US
  • Sephora Favourites Beauty after last call $22US
  • Benefit Refined and Defined Brow Kit $34US
  • Cinema Secrets brush cleaner $8US

Total: $119US

Total with discount: $101.15US

Plus Shipping Fee and and Service Fee: $47.84US

Total Cost: $148.99US

Total Cost Aud: $198.75AUD

What I got and what they cost in Australia;

  • Too Faced White Chocolate Chip Palette $37AUD
  • Smashbox Glow and Go set (Unavailable in Aus) So $38.69AUD for the cost of US price
  • Sephora Favourites Beauty after last call (unavailable in Aus) So $29.35AUD for the cost of US price
  • Benefit Refined and Defined Brow Kit $59AUD
  • Cinema Secrets brush cleaner $42AUD

Total: $206.04AUD

Plus Shipping cost: $16.95

Final Total: $222.99

Savings by using ShopandBox: $24.24AUD

Yes the savings arent catastrophically great but any saving is a good saving and a lot of the time you can get amazing deals like the Sephora Favourites boxes you cant get in Australia. Its also a good idea to use Shipping services like ShopandBox when your favourite American companies have amazing specials or exclusive deals, because then you get the most for your money, another great feature from Shopandbox is the amount of samples you get given from your boxer; with my last order I got a whole mix of products including a colour-pop eyeshadow!?! One company to buy from in America is Mac Cosmetics, they have been known to have almost a 100% markup for most products and sometimes even more and it happens with a lot of the Australian Cosmetic stores. For example it’s 17 USD (22 AUD) for a Mac lippie in the US versus 36 AUD in Australia.

If you want to try, or even check out Shopandbox click the link below. You can use the discover page to find what people are buying at the moment from countries all over the world.

Shop and Box

If you’ve shopped there before let me know about your experience, plus let me know what you want to hear more about so I can make a list of posts.

My Shop and Box experience! Costs, benefits and overall is it worth it? Plus giveaway sneak peek..

Hey guys welcome back to my blog.

Today’s post is about my shop and box experience and haul!

So I had the chance to try shop and box myself this month and I decided to check out Sephora US and Ulta as they are one of the two most well known makeup shops and are known to have some awesome sets and exclusive palettes.

This is what I got:

I got the Urban decay vice palette

Which actually isn’t sold in Australia

The smashbox light it up collection

Rrp is 66Aud

Lorac dance till dawn palette which is an ulta exclusive and can’t be bought in Australia

Then the Sephora favourites extravagant eyes which also isn’t sold in Australia Which gave you $134US(175aud) value for $42Us (55Aud).

When using shop and box all you have to do is add items to a Wishlist you can pick from 29 different countries. I have used shop and box before but decided to shop from the US this time. I had boxer Yan, who was amazing they even gave me a little sample bag with my order which I thought was so sweet. When you order from shop and box you don’t need to pick just one shop you can use multiple, once your boxer receives the items they post photos on your chat so you can see they are in tact.

Once your items are bought, You then proceeded with Invoice 2 the service fee which ranges between 10-14% with the fee the more you spend, the lower the service fee tier + international shipping

Once it’s all paid, DHL shipping takes 3 days from the US to your doorstep. I was so happy with how quick it all got to me and so well packaged as well. I will Definitely be shopping with them again. I have attached some more photos of the things I got so you can have a closer look. Also I will be giving away a Lorac palette and a shop and box experience on my Instagram so make sure you check it out

Has anyone shopped with shop and box before? What did you think if you did?

New Year, New Me? My Blogging and Personal Goals for this year plus a recap of the year past.

Hey guys welcome back to my blog, or if this is the first time reading one of my posts then welcome. Today’s post is both playful and serious. Now we are in a new year there are a few things I want to change both blog wise and also in my personal life. Some of the things I aim for this year are things I should have done years ago but I am really hoping this year will be different. Firstly I will start off with a recap of 2016.

Recap of 2016

So to be blunt this year had its ups and downs, but mainly downs. My mum was diagnosed with cancer and my mental state hasn’t been the best.

On the upside I’ve got to spend another year with the love of my life, my soul mate. He has been the biggest support to me in every way and I am so lucky to have him in my life.

Personal Goals

I have a few personal goals for the year. Firstly like most people I want to get in shape this year, though I’m not going to pretend that I am going to cut out all sugar or eat no bad foods (because I really love food 😍 ) but I will try to eat less of the bad stuff.

Secondly it’s my goal to make a friend this year, a close friend. In the past my anxiety has made it really hard to make friends but I want to change that. I’ve spent too long relying on my boyfriend to talk to, but sometimes you really need another girl to talk to. Someone I can talk makeup with and have a girls night with.

Lastly, I want to feel confident in my own skin. I want to be able to go to the beach in a bikini without feeling disgusting. I want to be able to show off my scar, because it’s the reason I am here today. I want to embrace my stretchmarks and my cellulite because they are apart of me, and what makes me.

Blogging Goals

I have a lot of blogging goals for this year but I will keep it short so you guys don’t get bored.

Firstly, by the end of this year I want to have 45k followers on Instagram and 500 followers on here. I want to focus more of both my blog posts and I want to post regular video reviews, swatches, looks and also my daily life.

Also, I’ve gotten to work with some really amazing companies in the last year but there are a few companies I am aiming to get to work with by the end of this year. Including Mecca Maxima, Sephora, Colourpop and Becca cosmetics. I recently started working with Bobbi Brown cosmetics and Mac Cosmetics and it is honestly a dream come true, I hope to have some more dreams come true this year.
Thank you for reading guys, I hope you enjoyed. Let me know what your goals are this year, both blogging and personal. Let me know what you thought of my goals as well. 💕

Christmas present ideas part 1. Beauty Junkies!

Hey guys welcome back to my blog!

Today’s post is written to help you guys find presents for your friends and family this year.

The first few items on my list are these.

Revo twist lip balm is a perfect stocking stuffer, they are cheap and an essential for any beauty lover!

Revos are $5 each and come in heaps of flavours.

Next up is the Eco tools. Eco tools have quite a few sets to choose from. This one is a limited edition set. Most of the sets are around the $29.99 range.

Next up is the body fantasies body sprays come in heaps of scents and cost about $12. They are very Similar to the Victoria secret sprays but they are way cheaper. I am trying three scents sweet pea, Japanese cherry blossom and pink vanilla kiss.  My favourite is the Japanese cherry blossom. It smells amazing.

Hope you guys enjoyed part one. There is a few more to come. I am going to do them in short bursts so they are easier to read. If you want ideas for certain types of people let me know in the comments.

My current skincare routine + Must haves for acne prone skin.

Hey Guys welcome back to my blog or if this is a first time then welcome. I hope you enjoy todays post, it is all about my current skincare routine, as well as my favourite products for acne prone skin. I have been trying out quite a few new products to clear up my skin after i had some nasty break outs and found a miracle worker!

Currently most of my skincare regime includes products from Skinstitut because they have such amazing quality skincare, but I know they are quite expensive and are not a brand everyone can afford. So in this post I will try to give options for everyone.

First off is my new current favourite from Konjac Co, is my charcoal and bamboo konjac sponge. I have been using it for about 5 days now and am already seeing such a change in my skin, also they are really cheap to buy. Next up is two things from biore, I am loving all of their charcoal range, especially this deep pore charcoal cleanser. The second thing from Biore that is a must have, is their nose strips, I am loving their current animal print range they are so cute!

One major must have for me is eye creams, I am currently using Nip and Fabs newest anti aging one.

So these are my must haves right now, have I mentioned any of your favourites?

Do you guys like hearing about my regimes?

What do you want to see more of? As well would anyone be interested in some real talk blog posts, like talks about depression and real life struggles?

Sugar Baby Beauty Skincare and Makeup Review!

Hey Lovelies, welcome back to my blog, or if this is the first time here welcome! Ive been trying out a bunch of products from Sugar Baby Beauty including sheet masks, body scrubs, hair treatments and some cosmetics.

This review will focus on the skincare side of the products I have used. There are six sheet masks Lets be clear, Express glow, Peeling great, Goodbye to dry, Never confuse the moment and Are you a firm Believer.

I was really impressed with all of these masks the Lets be clear was definitely my favourite, I will definitely be re-purchasing. After using them my skin was left feeling amazing, soft, clean and just over all refreshed. The smell of the masks isn’t the best, but this is common with sheet masks. If i had to explain how they smelt I would have to say it reminds me of chlorine but honestly it isn’t a big deal and doesn’t put me off wearing them. These masks retail at $6.95 each which is a pretty good price for a sheet masks as they normally range from about $5 to $15 each. I am a big fan of sheet masks and I am really impressed with the quality of the Sugar Baby ones.

The second products I have tried from them is the Coconut scrub, which I am absolutely in love with, it smells nice, leaves my skin soft and leaves very little mess because it is a sugar scrub rather then a Coffee scrub. It has a sweet smell and leaves a bit of coconut oil on the skin even after the sugar is gone, I like scrubs that do this because you can feel an instant difference in your skin.

The Hair treatment smells lovely, I have used it once, it was hard to tell much difference after one use, I find i prefer pure oil treatments and I was expecting an oil. But this one is a cream. I will continue to try it and can hopefully give a better review later.

If you have tried these, I would love to know what you think of them.
